Peter Turner - photographer, curator, writer and the longest-serving editor of Creative Camera wrote -
Scott works with his camera for love, not money. The only client is himself. He works very hard at it because he perceives the world as a complex and multi-faceted place of shifting sands. He clings to continuities in order to resolve idiosyncrasies. Which is why he ‘Wonders and Wanders’ - a fine title. Indeed, what you get is not the memoirs of a globe-trotter with itchy feet but a portfolio of self portraits. In that he is in accord with some of photography’s most accomplished practitioners who used this medium to record an outward reality while exploring an inner truth. © Peter Turner.

Drawing on over fifty years of film and digital photography and a deeply personal, internationalist perspective having lived in eleven countries for longer than a year, my work combines evocative images and reflections on my journey, spirituality, humanity and existence itself to celebrate the beauty and diversity of life, as well as systemic iniquity all around the world.
I include numerous photos (but not all) in the following themes below - Samsara, Landscapes, Urban, Femininities I, People, Form, Icebergs, Places (Antarctica, NZ, Leh, Venice, Kashgar, UK, Egypt, India and Madagascar), Flora and Fauna, Iniquity, and Digital Manipulation Categories.
Currently samples of my work in Antarctica, NZ, Leh, Venice, Kashgar, UK, Egypt, India and Madagascar are shown.
In 2023 I edited and printed a photo a day - what came to me randomly in my mind's eye ... as I progress further through my archive I am beginning to create fuller sets from the material that becomes available ...
